Once the dining hall for Studio 54 glitterati that flocked to its basement during its heyday, Indochine has persevered as a stylish dining beacon void of trend and pretense in lieu of fashion and decorum that exist in this French Vietnamese colonial classic. The dinning room still blossoms with banana palm fronds that frame double walls of cushy black banquettes and oversize mirrors where visiting Paris fashionistas still glance at their passing silhouettes.

Main course of crispy whole snapper, Vietnamese bouillabaisse and steamed Chilean sea bass come with an array of sides like sticky rice and wok-seared Brussels Sprouts.
